YourOutDoors is an avid supporter of youth-in-gardening programs. Gardening teaches responsibility and patience.  It provides beautiful opportunities to teach a child to create, share in the love of nature and enjoy the heritage of gardening.

In 2007, the company donated twenty-eight Perfect Garden Tool System sets to the winning school of the “Youth Gardening Competition” which was sponsored by the University of Florida, Disney/Epcot, Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Florida Landscape and Nursery Association and YourOutDoors.  The company has also forged a relationship with Fairchild Gardens in Miami, Florida.  Fairchild boasts the largest group of young people in the United States involved in gardening (26,000) with a donation of 60 sets of The Perfect Garden Tool System. 

Additionally, on Arbor Day 2008, YourOutDoors will give away free tree saplings to the first 50 children who visit a retail nursery where The Perfect Garden Tool System is sold. (Dates may vary state to state.)
